On Friday I made a trip to Nsawam to MC the wedding of a cousin who is a Soldier. The engagement and wedding was to be the following day (Saturday). I had to get a loading taxi from Nsawam to Adieso. I got there in peace and the program went smoothly amidst the usual hustle and bustle that comes with such occasions.
In a conversation with my Mum as I was packing up to leave, I mentioned to her that the 20 cedis taxi fare from Nsawam to Adieso is worth it, considering the distance and bad road.
My Mum replied, "20 cedis? 😂😂"
I said yes, the Driver charged 20 cedis...
She laughed and said, "Wei d3i webuwu!"
To wit, you've been cheated.
The actual price is 12 cedis, she said 😂😂
Oh, this Driver paa, 8 cedis difference what will it do for you...? Arh 😂😂😂
When I go back there, I'll go and look for this Driver and take my change 😂😂
