The Pain of My Own Doing 😭

Something is paining me, and I know it's my own fault. The formation is to board a car to Circle and continue with another one to Cantonments.

Sometimes, I get a car heading to Labadi, Teshie, or Nungua at Kaneshie, and it reduces both the stress and fare for me. Let's do a little mathematics here.

From my place to Circle by trosky is GHC 7.50, then a taxi to Osu is GHC 7.00. I alight at Fire Service and just walk for about 3 minutes to my destination. In all, GHC 14.50.

On the other hand, from my place to Kaneshie is GHC 5.50, then Teshie straight (Fire Service) is GHC 5.00. In total, GHC 10.50. Difference be GHC 4.00. 😂😂😂 If I add GHC 2.00 to that GHC 4.00, ago fit buy coconut.

This morning, I got a straight Circle car from my place. Paid my GHC 7.50, and as we got to Kaneshie, I heard… "Yaaasss Labadi, Teshie, Nungua!" So I alighted and collected GHC 2.00 change.

Ei, afei menhu Teshie car no🤧. Am I dreaming? I went in circles asking around for the Teshie car saa na aka 1 seat p3, and someone boarded before me, so the car went.

It was already 6 AM, so that was probably the last car. In a state of denial, I waited for almost 15 minutes, and not even a single Labadi car was heard. So I boarded another car to Circle and paid GHC 4.00. 😭😭😭

Got to Circle and paid GHC 7.00 for the Osu taxi, then alighted at Fire Service. In total, GHC 16.50. That 3-minute walk to my destination felt like eternity. Regret be understatement. GHC 10.50 jumped to GHC 16.50. 😭😭😭

It's not even about the money oo. It's about why I had to get down at Kaneshie for nothing, only to multiply the fare and prolong the journey.

I'm feeling jaw pains in my knee. Never again. 😒😒 Susupons!!
