Two people are reported to have perished in an accident on the Tarkwa - Bogoso Highway.
Reporting the incident on the TroTro Diaries Facebook group, Thomas Clark a member of the community mentioned that the accident happened between a parked timber truck and a Corolla truck.
The issue of broken down vehicles without the appropriate warning triangles to alert other drivers has been an ongoing issue which has led to other similar crashes which have led to the loss of life. These are very preventable issues.

"Oh so this truck still in the road because I remember Trinity fm post the same place there was an accident and today too other one to has happened again".
"Whats really going on? Everyday biaaa car accident.. It's scary".
"So for how long must faulty trucks let on the road keep killing people ? Till when will the authorities come up with unbearable laws that will force owners to remove them immediately "?
"The road safety precautions is zero in the country. Am sure the truck driver parked carelessly on that road. His negligence cost two lives just like that".
Another issue that has been raised is poor visibility on our roads which makes it difficult for drivers to see and avoid these broken down vehicles.
